Salbutamol Sulfate brand names: Ventolin, Salvent, Salmol, Airomir, Asmasal Clickhaler, and others.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
BETA-ADRENERGIC AGONISTS
Why this applies to Salbutamol Sulfate
Salbutamol Sulfate falls under BETA-ADRENERGIC AGONISTS — the group Oolong Tea interacts with.
Oolong tea contains caffeine. Caffeine can increase cardiac inotropic effects of beta-agonists.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version: your salbutamol inhaler (Ventolin) is a fast-acting reliever that opens your airways, but it can also rev up your heart a little, giving you a fast heartbeat, jitteriness, or a shaky feeling. Oolong tea brings caffeine to the table, and caffeine is a stimulant too. Put the two together and the heart-related effects could add up, so you might feel more of that racing or pounding sensation.
This concern is theoretical, based on how caffeine behaves rather than strong studies, and it really applies to large amounts of tea. A cup or two is unlikely to be a problem for most people. If you notice palpitations or feel wired after using your inhaler, ease back on the tea and check in with your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Salbutamol Sulfate page
“People who rely on salbutamol (Ventolin) to open their airways during asthma or COPD flares should give this list real attention, starting with its one major-rated interaction, activated charcoal. Charcoal, sold in detox and gut-cleanse products, can soak up many medicines and blunt their effect.”

About Oolong Tea
What is Oolong Tea?
- Weight management
- Mental alertness and energy
- Heart health
- Blood sugar support
- Antioxidant support
Oolong tea is a traditional partially oxidized tea made from the same plant as green and black tea, and it provides caffeine and plant antioxidants. As a beverage it is generally considered safe for most healthy adults in moderate amounts, but evidence for specific health benefits like weight loss or blood sugar control is limited. If you have heart, blood pressure, or caffeine-sensitivity concerns, talk with your pharmacist or doctor.
About Albuterol
What Is Albuterol Used For?
Brand names: Ventolin, Salvent, Salmol, Airomir, Asmasal Clickhaler, Salamol Easi-Breathe, Ventmax SR, Volmax, Ventolin Syrup, Ventolin Injection, Ventolin Evohaler, Ventolin Accuhaler, Ventolin Nebules, Ventolin Respirator Solution, Salapin, Salamol, Easyhaler Salbutamol, Pulvinal Salbutamol, Salbutamol Cyclocaps, Salamol Steri-Neb
Albuterol is used to treat or prevent bronchospasm — sudden tightening of the airways — in adults and children with reversible obstructive airway disease, such as asthma. Most inhaled formulations (HFA inhalers, dry-powder inhalers, and nebulizer solutions) are approved for patients 4 years and older, though some nebulizer solutions are approved for children as young as 2, and the oral syrup covers adults and children 2 and older. Albuterol tablets are approved for adults and children 6 and older.
Albuterol inhaled products are also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm in patients 4 years and older. The inhaled aerosol solution (0.5%) is approved specifically for relief of bronchospasm and acute attacks in patients 12 and older. Not every formulation covers every use — follow the instructions for the specific product you have been prescribed.
