This supplement contains Panax ginseng, and a few human studies suggest ginseng can nudge blood sugar a little lower on its own, especially after meals. Since Miglitol's whole job is to blunt that after-meal sugar spike, stacking the two could push your numbers down a bit more than expected.

Still, watch for signs of low blood sugar like shakiness, sweating, or feeling lightheaded.
