Here's the gist: one of the ingredients in Puravive is quercetin, and a small study suggests it may nudge blood pressure down a little in people with mild hypertension. Since your olmesartan (Benicar) is already working to lower your blood pressure, stacking the two could add up and bring your numbers a touch lower than expected.

If that happens, you might notice signs of blood pressure dipping too low, like feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or a bit faint, especially when you stand up quickly. What Is Olmesartan Used For?

Brand names: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Benicar

Olmesartan treats high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and in children aged 6 years and older. It can be used alone or combined with other blood pressure medicines. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious events like stroke and heart attack.

It is available as Benicar and as generic olmesartan medoxomil tablets, including a combination tablet with hydrochlorothiazide. All of these products are used for high blood pressure.
