Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Dasatinib
Dasatinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Uva Ursi interacts with.
In vitro, uva ursi appears to inhibit CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for Sprycel (dasatinib). Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear this leukemia medicine. In lab dish studies, uva ursi seems to slow that same enzyme down. If that held true in people, dasatinib could build up a bit higher than expected, and that can mean more of its typical side effects, things like fluid retention, low blood counts, headache, tiredness, or bleeding and bruising.
Now the honest part: this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube work, and it hasn't actually been shown in humans. So I wouldn't panic. But cancer drugs like this leave little room for surprises, so please check with your oncologist or pharmacist before adding uva ursi rather than starting or stopping anything on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Dasatinib page
“Grapefruit is the first thing I would take off the table for anyone on dasatinib (Sprycel, Phyrago), a targeted leukemia therapy where a steady blood level is the whole point of treatment. It blocks CYP3A4, the enzyme that clears dasatinib, letting levels climb, and 121 of the 146 supplements on file act on that same pathway.”

About Uva Ursi
What is Uva Ursi?
- Urinary tract infections
- Urinary discomfort
- Mild diuretic
- Kidney stones
- Skin conditions
Uva ursi is a traditional herb used mainly for urinary tract infections, and its leaves contain a compound called arbutin that may have antimicrobial effects in the urine. Evidence in people is limited, and because high doses or long-term use may be harmful to the liver and could be toxic, it should only be used short-term and with guidance from a healthcare professional. Avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
