Ribociclib Succinate brand name: Kisqali.
Bacopa has a moderate interaction with Ribociclib Succinate. Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Ribociclib Succinate
Ribociclib Succinate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.
Research on the effects of bacopa extracts on CYP3A4 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and competitively inhibit CYP3A4, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the idea behind this one. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down and clear ribociclib (Kisqali). In lab studies, bacopa has shown a possible ability to slow that same enzyme down. If that happened in real life, ribociclib could build up a bit more than expected, which might mean more of its known side effects, things like nausea, low white blood cell counts, fatigue, or changes in your heart's QT interval.
I want to be honest about the evidence though. This is theoretical, based only on test-tube data, and even those studies disagree. We don't have human evidence that bacopa truly affects ribociclib. Still, because ribociclib is a serious cancer medicine, please run any bacopa supplement past your oncologist or pharmacist before starting it.

About Bacopa
What is Bacopa?
- Memory and cognitive support
- Anxiety and stress
- ADHD symptoms
- Age-related memory decline
- General brain health
Bacopa is an Ayurvedic herb most often used for memory and thinking. Some small studies suggest it may modestly help memory when taken regularly for several weeks, but the evidence is limited and quality varies. It is generally well tolerated but can cause stomach upset, and it should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to a lack of safety data.
About Ribociclib
What Is Ribociclib Used For?
Brand name: Kisqali
Kisqali is used to treat adults with hormone receptor (HR)-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. For early breast cancer (stage II or III, at high risk of recurrence), Kisqali is used together with an aromatase inhibitor as adjuvant treatment — meaning it's given after initial treatment to help reduce the chance the cancer comes back.
For advanced or metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has spread), Kisqali is used in combination with either an aromatase inhibitor or fulvestrant — either as the first hormone-based treatment or after the cancer has progressed on another hormone therapy.
