Beyaz is a birth control pill that combines drospirenone, ethinyl estradiol, and a folate (levomefolate). The estrogen part, ethinyl estradiol, is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. In a test-tube study, plumbagin from Ceylon Leadwort slowed that same enzyme down. In theory, that could let estrogen levels drift a little higher, which sometimes shows up as nausea, breast tenderness, headaches, bloating, or mood changes.
Keep in mind this is only lab data, and it has never been reported in real people, so I don't want you to panic. Still, since this hasn't been studied in humans and Ceylon Leadwort itself can be harsh in larger doses, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

Beyaz combines drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol, both of which your body clears partly through a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab (test tube) studies, plumbagin from Ceylon Leadwort slowed that enzyme down. In theory, that could let these hormones build up a bit higher than usual, which might bump up estrogen-type side effects like nausea, breast tenderness, headaches, bloating, or mood changes.
Here's the honest part: this has only been seen in lab work, never confirmed in real people, so the risk is uncertain and probably small. I'd still mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before starting the supplement, rather than changing anything on your own. One thing this interaction would not do is make your birth control work better.

Beyaz is a combination birth control pill, blending estrogen (ethinyl estradiol), a progestin (drospirenone), and a folate form. The concern here is pretty narrow: in lab and animal studies, Ceylon Leadwort root showed anti-estrogenic activity, meaning it might work against the estrogen part of your pill. In theory, that could chip away at how well the hormones do their job, which for a contraceptive matters because reduced effectiveness can mean breakthrough bleeding, spotting, or even a higher chance of an unintended pregnancy.
I want to be honest that this is theoretical, based only on test-tube and animal research, not real people taking both together. Still, since reliable birth control is the goal, I'd loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding this supplement rather than risk it.

Ceylon Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica) is a plant long used in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicine systems, mainly for digestion, skin problems, and pain. Solid human studies are lacking, and the plant contains plumbagin, a compound that can irritate skin and tissues and may be unsafe in larger amounts.
