Metformin, Linagliptin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Ceylon Leadwort interacts with.

Ceylon leadwort root extract has been shown to both increase and decrease blood glucose levels in animal research. This effect has not yet been demonstrated in humans. Theoretically, Ceylon leadwort might reduce or potentiate the effects of antidiabetes drugs. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Medication dose adjustments may be necessary. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (Diabeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the honest picture with Jentadueto (which combines metformin and linagliptin to lower your blood sugar). Ceylon Leadwort has shown a confusing, two-way effect in animal studies. In some research it pushed blood sugar down, in others it nudged it up. That means it could either add to your medication's sugar-lowering, raising the risk of a low (shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion), or it could work against it and leave your numbers running high.

The key thing to know is that this is only lab and animal data, not proven in people, so don't panic. Still, if you decide to use this supplement, check your blood sugar more often and loop in your pharmacist or doctor before starting or stopping anything.
