Talicia is a three-in-one combo (amoxicillin, omeprazole, and rifabutin) used to knock out H. pylori stomach infections. The piece that matters here is omeprazole, which the body partly clears using a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. Lab studies hint that devil's claw might slow that enzyme down, which could let omeprazole build up a bit. None of these three are prodrugs, so this would mean slightly stronger omeprazole effects, not weaker treatment.

Honestly, this is a theoretical concern only, seen in test tubes and not in real people. Even if it happened, more omeprazole isn't dangerous and might cause mild things like headache or upset stomach. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since you're on Talicia for an infection, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist before adding devil's claw.

The piece that matters here is rifabutin, which the body partly clears through a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab dish studies only, devil's claw has hinted that it might slow that enzyme down. If that happened in real life, rifabutin could build up a bit, which might mean more of its typical effects like nausea, an upset stomach, rash, or harmless orange-red coloring of urine and tears.

I want to be honest: this is theoretical and has never actually been seen in people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since you're treating an infection, run any devil's claw past your pharmacist or doctor first.
