Why this applies to Dutasteride, Tamsulosin

Dutasteride, Tamsulosin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lentinan interacts with.

Laboratory research suggests that lentinan might increase the activity of cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4). So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for a decrease in the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 in patients taking lentinan.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.

Jalyn combines two medicines, and both dutasteride and tamsulosin are partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lentinan, in lab studies only, looks like it could speed that enzyme up a bit. If that happened in real life, your body might break these two drugs down faster and leave less of them working. For dutasteride that could mean a slower benefit for an enlarged prostate, and for tamsulosin it could mean weaker relief of urinary symptoms like slow stream or trouble emptying.

Here is the reassuring part: this is based only on test-tube and animal research, not on real people, so it is very theoretical. Neither drug is a prodrug, so the direction holds. You do not need to panic, but do mention the lentinan to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
