Lentinan + Dapsone
Dapsone brand names: Dapsone, Avlosulfon, Aczone.
Lentinan has a moderate interaction with Dapsone. Laboratory research suggests that lentinan might increase the activity of cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4).

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Dapsone
Dapsone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lentinan interacts with.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for Dapsone and lentinan. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 (along with others) to help break down dapsone. Lab and animal studies hint that lentinan might speed up CYP3A4, which in theory could clear dapsone a little faster and make it work less well, for example letting a skin infection or leprosy flare. Dapsone is an active drug, not a prodrug, so faster breakdown would point toward weaker effect, not stronger.
That said, this is very early evidence. It has only been seen in test tubes and animals, never confirmed in people, and oral lentinan products vary a lot. I wouldn't panic, but do mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them so they can keep an eye on how your treatment is working.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Dapsone page
“Dapsone treats serious conditions, from dermatitis herpetiformis to leprosy, and its supplement list is one I'd want a patient to read closely rather than skim. Most entries touch how the body handles dapsone through the CYP3A4 enzyme, so grapefruit can raise its blood level while St.”

- Immune support
- Used alongside cancer treatment
- Anti-inflammatory
- General wellness/tonic
- Antimicrobial support
Lentinan is a beta-glucan polysaccharide from shiitake mushrooms that is studied mainly as an immune-modulating add-on to cancer chemotherapy, where it is given by injection in a few countries.
