Trimetrexate Glucuronate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lentinan interacts with.

Laboratory research suggests that lentinan might increase the activity of cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4). So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for a decrease in the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 in patients taking lentinan.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.

Here's the gist for Trimetrexate (Neutrexin), a strong medicine doctors use against serious infections like PCP pneumonia, often in people with weakened immune systems. Lab studies hint that lentinan may rev up an enzyme called CYP3A4, one of the pathways your body uses to break this drug down. If that happens, your body could clear trimetrexate a bit faster, which in theory might leave less in your bloodstream and make it work less well.

I want to keep this in perspective. This is test-tube and animal data only, and it hasn't been seen in real patients. Trimetrexate is also given in a hospital or clinic setting where you're being watched closely. Still, since this drug treats a serious infection, mention any supplement, including lentinan, to your care team so they can keep an eye on things.
