Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Acetaminophen, Pamabrom, Pyrilamine
Acetaminophen, Pamabrom, Pyrilamine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Moringa interacts with.
In vitro research shows that moringa extract induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This Midol-style combo blends acetaminophen (a pain and fever reliever), pamabrom (a mild diuretic for bloating), and pyrilamine (an antihistamine). The piece that touches this interaction is the acetaminophen, which your liver partly processes through an enzyme called CYP1A2. In lab dishes, moringa appears to speed that enzyme up. If that held true in people, it could clear acetaminophen a little faster and slightly trim its pain or fever relief.
Here's the honest part: this is only test-tube data, the rating is minor, and food amounts of moringa likely don't matter at all. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but if you take concentrated moringa supplements regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

About Moringa
What is Moringa?
- Nutritional supplement
- Blood sugar support
- Cholesterol support
- Inflammation
- Skin conditions
Moringa is a nutrient-rich plant whose leaves are widely used as a food and supplement, especially in parts of the world where malnutrition is common. Early research hints at possible benefits for blood sugar, cholesterol, and inflammation, but the human evidence is limited and not strong enough to recommend it as a treatment. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using moringa, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medications.
