Entrectinib falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Ostarine interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use with hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of adverse hepatotoxic effects.
Some clinical research shows that ostarine can increase alanine aminotransferase, a marker of liver damage, in some patients. Additionally, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that supplements containing SARMs, such as ostarine, have been associated with reports of liver toxicity and there are at least two reports of drug-induced liver injury attributed to the use of ostarine.

Here's the concern with pairing these two. Entrectinib (Rozlytrek) can be hard on the liver on its own, and your care team already watches your liver enzymes while you're on it. Ostarine, a SARM that isn't FDA approved, has its own track record of liver trouble. There are real-world reports of liver injury from SARMs, and studies show ostarine can push up ALT, a blood marker of liver stress.

So this isn't about one drug speeding up or slowing down the other. It's that two liver stressors stacked together may raise your risk of liver damage. Watch for yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, nausea, or unusual tiredness. This link is theoretical, but given a serious cancer drug, I'd skip the SARM and check with your oncologist or pharmacist first.

It is not approved by the FDA, is banned in sports, and has been linked to liver injury and other serious harms, so it is not recommended for general use.

What Is Entrectinib Used For?

Brand name: Rozlytrek

Rozlytrek is used to treat adult patients with ROS1-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) — a type of lung cancer where the ROS1 gene is rearranged — as confirmed by an FDA-approved test.

Rozlytrek is also approved for adult and pediatric patients older than 1 month with solid tumors that have an NTRK gene fusion (a specific genetic alteration), detected by an FDA-approved test, that have spread or cannot be removed without causing serious harm, and have worsened after prior treatment or have no good treatment alternatives. This NTRK indication was granted accelerated approval based on tumor response rates; continued approval may depend on results from confirmatory trials.
