Ostarine and Glofitamab-gxbm

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.

Minor

CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS

Why this applies to Glofitamab-gxbm

Glofitamab-gxbm falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Ostarine interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of ostarine with CYP3A4 inhibitors could increase the effects and adverse effects of ostarine, although this is unlikely to be clinically significant.
Ostarine is partially metabolized by CYP3A4. However, clinical research shows that taking itraconazole, a potent inhibitor of CYP3A4, had minimal effects on the levels of ostarine in the body.

Dr. Brian Staiger explains PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist

Here's the thing that makes this pairing a little unusual. Glofitamab (Columvi) is a lab-made antibody, a bispecific T-cell engager given by infusion for certain lymphomas. Antibodies like this aren't processed by the liver's CYP3A4 enzyme the way many pills are, so Glofitamab isn't really acting as a CYP3A4 inhibitor in a way that would change how Ostarine is handled.

Even setting that aside, the interaction on file is theoretical and rated minor. In actual studies, a strong CYP3A4 blocker (itraconazole) barely nudged Ostarine levels, so any effect here would likely be tiny. My bigger concern is Ostarine itself, an unapproved SARM tied to liver injury, while you're already on cancer treatment. Please loop in your oncology team before combining anything.

Ostarine (also called MK-2866 or enobosarm) is an experimental, unapproved drug known as a SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator), not a true dietary supplement. It is not approved by the FDA, is banned in sports, and has been linked to liver injury and other serious harms, so it is not recommended for general use.
