Here's the simple version. Acebutolol (Sectral) already works to bring your blood pressure down and steady your heart rate. Puravive contains quercetin, and in one small study quercetin gave a slight blood pressure drop in people with mild high blood pressure. So the concern is just additive: two things nudging your pressure in the same direction.

If they stack a bit too much, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, tired, or notice your pulse running on the slow side. To be honest, this is a theoretical, minor interaction based on weak evidence, so it's unlikely to cause real trouble for most folks. What Is Acebutolol Used For?

Acebutolol Hydrochloride capsules are used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. They can be used on their own or alongside other blood pressure medications, particularly thiazide-type diuretics.

They are also used to treat ventricular premature beats — extra, out-of-rhythm heartbeats that originate in the lower chambers of the heart. Acebutolol reduces how often these abnormal beats occur, including complex patterns that can be more concerning.
