Here's the gist for your atenolol/chlortalidone combo pill. Puravive contains quercetin, and one small study found quercetin can nudge blood pressure down a little in people with mild high blood pressure. Since your medication already lowers blood pressure (the atenolol slows your heart and the chlortalidone is a water pill), stacking the two could add up and push your numbers a touch lower than expected.
