Here's the simple version: your medicine combines hydralazine (which relaxes blood vessels) with hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill), and together they bring your blood pressure down. Puravive contains quercetin, and one small study suggested quercetin may nudge blood pressure down a little in people with mild high blood pressure. So in theory, stacking it on top of your pill could add to the effect.

Honestly, this is a minor, mostly theoretical concern. If your pressure does drop a bit too low, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, or tired, especially when standing up quickly. Neither drug here is a prodrug, so the direction is straightforward. Just check in with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Puravive, and watch how you feel.
