Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Why this applies to Insulin Lispro
Insulin Lispro falls under Antidiabetes Drugs — the group Puravive interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to keep in mind with Puravive and your insulin lispro: Puravive contains Panax ginseng, and some studies suggest ginseng can nudge blood sugar a little lower on its own. Since insulin lispro already works to bring your sugar down after meals, stacking the two could push your levels lower than you expect.
In practical terms, that means a higher chance of a low blood sugar episode, with signs like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or feeling jittery. The evidence here is modest and the effect is usually mild, so this isn't a reason to panic. Still, if you decide to try Puravive, check your glucose more closely at first and chat with your pharmacist or doctor so any insulin adjustments are done safely.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Insulin Lispro page
“Blood sugar is the entire subject of this list. Insulin lispro (Admelog) is a rapid mealtime insulin dosed to bring glucose down after eating, and the supplements below can shove that same number around, most of them downward, which risks a genuine low.”

About Puravive
What is Puravive?
- Weight management
- Metabolism support
- Energy levels
- General wellness
- Stress and brain health
Puravive is a branded, multi-ingredient capsule marketed mainly for weight loss by claiming to boost brown fat activity, but there is no published, independent clinical research showing the product itself works for this purpose. Some individual ingredients have been studied in laboratory or small human studies, but those results do not prove the finished blend is safe or effective. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before trying it, especially if you have health conditions or take medications.
About Insulin Lispro Injection
What Is Insulin Lispro Injection Used For?
Brand names: Admelog, Admelog Solostar
Insulin lispro injection is used to improve glycemic control (blood sugar management) in people with diabetes mellitus. It is a rapid-acting insulin analog approved for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
Admelog is specifically indicated to improve glycemic control in patients with diabetes mellitus. Humalog Mix75/25 is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes mellitus; it is a fixed-ratio mixture of insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, and its fixed proportions do not allow for separate adjustment of basal (background) and prandial (mealtime) doses.
