Ashwagandha, also known as Withania somnifera, is a herb commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine. It is native to India, and is used to treat a variety of conditions, including stress, anxiety, and insomnia. Some studies have also suggested that ashwagandha may have potential health benefits for conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. However, more research is needed. Ashwagandha is often referred to as an adaptogenic herb, which is theorized to help the body to adapt to stress.

Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre) is a plant species native to India and Africa that has been used traditionally in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries to treat a range of conditions, including diabetes, obesity, and digestive problems. Gymnema is thought to work by inhibiting the absorption of sugar in the intestines and by increasing the production of insulin in the pancreas. If applied topically to the tongue, it reduces the sweetness and bitter sensation of foods, which may deter excess sugar intake (the plant is sometimes referred to informally as 'the sugar destroyer'). One of the most popular natural medicines utilized for dietary supplements, an extract of the leaf (Gymnema leaf extract) is the most often standardized for use, although the root can be used as well.

L-Theanine
Theanine, often referred to as L-theanine as that is the predominant isomer of theanine, is an amino acid commonly found in tea leaves, particularly in green tea. It is purported to increase levels of GABA, serotonin, and dopamine in the brain, which can help to reduce stress and anxiety. L-theanine may also promote a sense of calm and improve overall well-being. Some studies have also suggested that it may improve cognitive function, although more research is needed. Most reported drug interactions with theanine are due to its sedative effects.

Huperzia serrata
Clubmoss, also known as lycopodium, is a plant that belongs to the Lycopodiaceae family. Clubmosses are native to many parts of the world, including North America, Europe, and Asia, and are known for their small, fern-like leaves and spore-producing structures. Clubmoss, both the plant and spores, has a long history of use in traditional medicine and herbal remedies. The plant is believed to have a number of medicinal properties and is used to treat a variety of conditions, including bladder and kidney disorders, respiratory problems, digestive issues, and skin irritation. Some studies suggest it may also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Clubmoss needs to be used cautiously as it contains potentially toxic alkaloids, including lycopodine, dihydrolycopodine, and traces of nicotine.
