Cyclobenzaprine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group 1,3-dmba interacts with.

Theoretically, 1,3-DMBA might modestly increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that 1,3-DMBA weakly inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes.

Here's the gist for these two together. Cyclobenzaprine is an active drug (not a prodrug), and your body partly clears it using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. In lab dish studies, 1,3-DMBA appears to weakly block that enzyme. If it does the same in people, cyclobenzaprine could clear a little slower and build up slightly, which may nudge up its usual effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, and a foggy or sedated feeling.

I want to be honest about the evidence: this is theoretical and only based on test-tube data, so the effect (if any) is likely small. The bigger concern is 1,3-DMBA itself, which is a risky, FDA-flagged stimulant I'd steer clear of. Please run any combo past your pharmacist or doctor first.

Brand names: Cyclobenzaprine, Flexeril, Cycloprine

Cyclobenzaprine tablets and extended-release capsules are used alongside rest and physical therapy to relieve muscle spasm caused by acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions — easing pain, tenderness, and limited movement. This use is intended for short-term treatment only (up to 2–3 weeks).

Tonmya, the sublingual (under-the-tongue) form of cyclobenzaprine, is separately indicated for the treatment of fibromyalgia in adults. It is not the same as the oral tablet or capsule formulations.
