Trazodone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group 1,3-dmba interacts with.

Theoretically, 1,3-DMBA might modestly increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that 1,3-DMBA weakly inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes.

Here's the gist with these two together. Lab studies suggest 1,3-DMBA may weakly slow down a liver enzyme called CYP2D6, which is one of the pathways your body uses to clear trazodone. If that enzyme gets nudged a bit, trazodone could build up slightly, which in theory might make its usual effects stronger, things like drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, or feeling lightheaded when you stand up.

That said, this is only a theoretical, test-tube finding rated as minor, so the real-world effect is probably small. My bigger concern honestly is 1,3-DMBA itself. It's a banned, unsafe stimulant that can spike heart rate and blood pressure, and pairing a stimulant with an antidepressant isn't something I'd recommend. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before using anything with it.
