Here's the simple version: amphetamine sulfate (Benzedrine, Evekeo) is itself a stimulant. It already speeds up your heart and bumps up your blood pressure. 1,3-DMBA appears to do the very same thing, so stacking the two would mean two stimulants pushing in the same direction at once.

The worry is added cardiovascular strain, things like a racing or pounding heart, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, chest tightness, or trouble sleeping. In a worst case, that extra load raises the risk of heart or stroke problems. I'll be honest that this specific combo is mostly theoretical and based on animal data, not human studies. Still, 1,3-DMBA is an unapproved, risky ingredient I'd steer clear of, especially alongside a prescribed stimulant. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

Amphetamine Sulfate also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES.

Theoretically, 1,3-DMBA might modestly increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that 1,3-DMBA weakly inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes.

Here's the situation with these two. Amphetamine sulfate is partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Lab studies suggest 1,3-DMBA can weakly block that enzyme, which could in theory let amphetamine hang around a bit longer and build up slightly. That might mean a stronger stimulant effect, things like a faster heart rate, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, or trouble sleeping.

But honestly, the bigger concern isn't the enzyme part. 1,3-DMBA is itself a powerful stimulant that the FDA considers unsafe, and stacking it on top of amphetamine could really push your heart and blood pressure. The enzyme evidence here is weak (lab data only), but I'd steer clear of this combo. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist first.
