These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Ceylon Leadwort interacts with whole categories of medication. Aspirin, Pentazocine falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Ceylon Leadwort in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
1 of 2Why this applies to Aspirin, Pentazocine
Aspirin, Pentazocine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Ceylon Leadwort interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Your Talwin Compound combines aspirin with pentazocine, a prescription pain reliever. The pentazocine part gets cleared from your body partly by a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. In lab dish studies (not yet in real people), plumbagin from Ceylon Leadwort appears to slow that same enzyme down.
If that slowdown happened in your body, pentazocine could build up a bit more than expected. That might mean stronger or longer-lasting effects like drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, or constipation. Keep in mind this is only theoretical right now, based on test-tube work, so I don't want to alarm you. Still, since both can affect alertness, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.

ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
2 of 2Aspirin, Pentazocine also falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Talwin Compound pairs pentazocine (a pain reliever) with aspirin, and it's the aspirin part that matters here. Aspirin already thins the blood by making platelets less sticky, which is how it raises bleeding risk. In animal studies, Ceylon Leadwort root did something similar (it lowered platelet stickiness and made bleeding take longer). Stacking the two could, in theory, push that blood-thinning effect further.
What you might notice if bleeding risk climbs: easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or stomach upset and dark stools from aspirin's gut irritation. I'll be honest though, this is based only on lab and animal work, not people, so it's a caution, not a red alert. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Pentazocine page
“Talwin Compound pairs pentazocine, an opioid painkiller, with aspirin, and I read its supplement list with more concern than most. The great majority of entries do one of two things: raise the bleeding risk that aspirin already carries, or deepen the sedation pentazocine causes.”

Ceylon Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica) is a plant long used in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicine systems, mainly for digestion, skin problems, and pain.
