Here's the simple version. Dolasetron (Anzemet) works on serotonin in your body to keep chemo-related nausea and vomiting away. Fermented wheat germ extract has been shown, mostly in animal studies, to nudge serotonin levels up. Put the two together and the worry is a little extra serotonin activity, which could in theory raise the chance of serotonin-related side effects.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's theoretical and based on lab and animal data, not real patient reports, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you ever feel agitated, shaky, sweaty, have a racing heart, or feel unusually restless, let your doctor know. Since this supplement is often used during cancer care, please run it past your oncologist or pharmacist first.
