These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Lentinan interacts with whole categories of medication. Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Lentinan in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
1 of 2Why this applies to Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine
Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Lentinan interacts with.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP1A2 include amitriptyline (Elavil), haloperidol (Haldol), ondansetron (Zofran), propranolol (Inderal), theophylline (Theo-Dur, others), verapamil (Calan, Isoptin, others), and others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for your Super Cold Tabs combo. Lentinan has only been shown in lab and animal studies to possibly speed up an enzyme called CYP1A2. This hasn't actually been seen in people, so this is a very theoretical concern, not something I'd lose sleep over.
Of the three ingredients here, none of them lean heavily on CYP1A2, so the practical impact is likely small. In theory, a faster enzyme could clear a drug a bit quicker and make it slightly less effective, meaning your cold symptoms (stuffy nose, sneezing, aches) might not be covered quite as well. That's a stretch, though, given how weak the evidence is. If you take lentinan regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist so you're both on the same page.

CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
2 of 2Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the honest scoop on combining lentinan with this cold combo (acetaminophen, phenylephrine, and chlorpheniramine). The concern on file is that lentinan might speed up a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which could clear certain drugs out faster. None of the three ingredients here is a prodrug, so faster clearing would mean a slightly weaker effect, not a stronger one. In theory you might notice your allergy and congestion relief (the chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine pieces) wearing off a bit sooner.
But I want to keep this in perspective. This is only lab and animal research, with nothing seen in real people, and these cold-tab ingredients aren't ones we usually worry about with CYP3A4. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, run it by your pharmacist if you take lentinan regularly.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine page
“Super Cold Tabs earns more caution than a cold remedy usually gets. It combines acetaminophen, the decongestant phenylephrine, and the antihistamine chlorpheniramine, and 14 of the 289 supplements on file interact at a major level, so those are the ones to understand first.”
