Ostarine + Telaprevir
Telaprevir brand name: Incivek.
Ostarine has a minor interaction with Telaprevir. Theoretically, concomitant use of ostarine with CYP3A4 inhibitors could increase the effects and adverse effects of ostarine, although this is unlikely to be clinically significant.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS
Why this applies to Telaprevir
Telaprevir falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Ostarine interacts with.
Ostarine is partially metabolized by CYP3A4. However, clinical research shows that taking itraconazole, a potent inhibitor of CYP3A4, had minimal effects on the levels of ostarine in the body.
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the gist with this pairing. Telaprevir is a strong blocker of an enzyme called CYP3A4, and Ostarine is partly broken down by that same enzyme. On paper, slowing that breakdown could let a bit more Ostarine build up in your body, which in theory means more of its effects and side effects.
In real life, though, this looks like a weak concern. When researchers gave Ostarine alongside itraconazole, an even more powerful CYP3A4 blocker, the Ostarine levels barely moved. So a big spike is unlikely. My bigger worry is the combination itself: Ostarine is an unapproved SARM tied to liver injury, and telaprevir is treating a liver already stressed by hepatitis C. Please run this by your doctor or pharmacist before mixing them.

About Ostarine
What is Ostarine?
- Muscle building
- Athletic performance
- Fat loss / body recomposition
- Bodybuilding cycles
Ostarine (also called MK-2866 or enobosarm) is an experimental, unapproved drug known as a SARM (selective androgen receptor modulator), not a true dietary supplement. It is not approved by the FDA, is banned in sports, and has been linked to liver injury and other serious harms, so it is not recommended for general use.
About Telaprevir
What Is Telaprevir Used For?
Brand name: Incivek
-
Telaprevir is used along with two other medications (ribavirin [Copegus, Rebetol] and peginterferon alfa [Pegasys]) to treat chronic hepatitis C (an ongoing viral infection that damages the liver) in people who have not yet been treated for this condition or whose condition could not successfully be treated with ribavirin and peginterferon alfa alone. Telaprevir is in a class of medications called protease inhibitors. It works by decreasing the amount of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in the body. Telaprevir may not prevent the spread of hepatitis C to other people.
