Relugolix falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Uva Ursi interacts with.

Theoretically, uva ursi may decrease the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro, uva ursi appears to inhibit CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for Orgovyx (relugolix): your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help process this medicine. In lab tests, uva ursi seems to slow that same enzyme down. If that held true in people, relugolix could clear out a bit slower and build up, which might mean stronger testosterone lowering and more of its usual effects like hot flashes, tiredness, joint aches, or mood changes.

I want to be honest, though: this has only been seen in a test tube, never in actual patients, so it's more of a theoretical concern than a proven one. Uva ursi also isn't meant for long-term use. Before pairing them, please check with your oncologist or pharmacist so they can keep an eye on you.

Theoretically, uva ursi may alter the levels of drugs transported by P-glycoprotein.
In vitro, uva ursi appears to inhibit the multi-drug transporter protein, P-glycoprotein. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with Orgovyx (relugolix) and uva ursi. Relugolix relies on a transporter called P-glycoprotein (P-gp) to get moved around and out of your body. In a lab dish, uva ursi seemed to block P-gp a bit. If that same thing happened in people, it could let a little more relugolix stay in your system, which might mean stronger effects or more side effects like hot flashes, fatigue, joint or muscle aches, or diarrhea.

The important part: this was only seen in test-tube studies, never in actual patients, and it's rated a minor, possible concern. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since you're treating prostate cancer, run any uva ursi use past your oncologist or pharmacist first.
