Cilazapril falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chanca piedra with antihypertensive drugs might have additive blood pressure lowering effects.
Animal research suggests that chanca piedra can decrease blood pressure. However, this effect was not observed in most hypertensive patients treated with chanca piedra for 10 days.

Here's the gist with cilazapril (Inhibace), which is an ACE inhibitor that lowers your blood pressure. On paper, chanca piedra may also nudge blood pressure down a bit, so taking the two together could add up and push your readings lower than expected.

I'll be straight with you though: this is theoretical, based mostly on animal studies. In a small human trial, most people with high blood pressure didn't actually see a drop after using chanca piedra for 10 days. So a serious problem is unlikely. Still, keep an eye out for signs of low blood pressure like dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint when you stand up. If you notice that, or you're starting this herb, just check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.
