Tirofiban falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research suggests that methyl brevifolincarboxylate, a constituent isolated from chanca piedra, can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the quick picture: Tirofiban (Aggrastat) is a strong IV antiplatelet medicine given in the hospital, usually during heart procedures or for certain types of chest pain. Its whole job is to keep your platelets from clumping, which lowers your clotting ability on purpose. Chanca piedra contains a plant compound that, in lab dish studies, also blocked platelets from sticking together.

So the theory is that stacking them could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher, meaning more bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or trouble stopping minor bleeds. Honestly though, this is theoretical only, seen in a test tube and never reported in real people. Since tirofiban is hospital-given, your care team is already watching you closely. Still, tell your nurse, pharmacist, or doctor about any supplement you take.

Tirofiban hydrochloride injection — available as Aggrastat and under the generic names Tirofiban and Tirofiban Hydrochloride — is used intravenously in people with non-ST elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS), a type of unstable heart condition where blood flow to the heart is dangerously reduced.

The goal is to lower the combined risk of death, heart attack (myocardial infarction), or persistent ischemia (insufficient blood flow to the heart) that may require a repeat cardiac procedure.
