Here's the simple version: ketoprofen is an NSAID, and like other NSAIDs it can already make your blood a little slower to clot. That's why it sometimes causes stomach upset, easy bruising, or in rare cases stomach bleeding. Cola nut's caffeine has shown some mild blood-thinning (antiplatelet) activity in lab studies, so in theory pairing the two could nudge your bleeding risk up a touch.

I want to be honest with you though: this is only based on test-tube and animal work, and it has never actually been reported in people. Ketoprofen is not a prodrug, so this isn't about activating or blocking it. Everyday cola-flavored drinks are very unlikely to matter; concentrated supplements are where I'd be more cautious. If you take ketoprofen regularly, just run your cola nut use past your pharmacist or doctor first.

What Is Ketoprofen Used For?

Brand names: Orudis, Oruvail Gel, Powergel, Oruvail Injection

Ketoprofen capsules (including the brand Orudis) are used to manage the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, to treat pain, and to treat primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual periods).

Ketoprofen extended-release capsules are approved for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis only. Because of the way they slowly release the drug, ketoprofen extended-release capsules are not recommended for treating acute (sudden) pain.
