Here's the short version on pairing cola nut with Trulicity (dulaglutide). Trulicity is an injectable that helps your body manage blood sugar, and it isn't broken down by the liver enzymes that many supplements affect. So cola nut isn't going to change how Trulicity itself works in your body.

The only loose connection is the caffeine in cola nut. There are mixed reports that caffeine might nudge blood sugar slightly up or down in some people, but this is theoretical and based on weak evidence. In practice, a cup or two of a caffeinated drink is very unlikely to throw off your numbers. If you load up on concentrated cola nut supplements, just keep an eye on your readings and mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
