Here's the gist with cola nut and diclofenac. Diclofenac is an NSAID, and like other anti-inflammatory pain relievers it can mildly thin the blood and irritate the stomach lining, which already nudges up your bleeding risk a little. Cola nut's main active ingredient is caffeine, and in lab studies caffeine has shown some ability to keep platelets (the cells that help you clot) from sticking together. Stacked on top of diclofenac, the theory is you could see a slightly higher chance of bleeding or bruising.

That said, this is theoretical only and has not actually been reported in people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over an occasional cola-nut drink. If you take diclofenac daily or notice easy bruising, dark stools, or stomach upset, check in with your pharmacist or doctor.

Diclofenac sodium topical gel is used to treat actinic keratoses (AK) — rough, scaly skin patches that form after years of sun exposure. These patches are considered precancerous, meaning they can develop into skin cancer if left untreated.

This is a topical gel, meaning it is applied directly to the skin over the affected area rather than taken by mouth. It belongs to the NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) family.
