Here's the thing to keep in mind about bromfenac: it's an NSAID, and NSAIDs can mildly thin the blood and nudge up bleeding risk. The worry on file is that cola nut (which is really just a caffeine source) may have a small antiplatelet effect of its own, so stacking the two could theoretically add up to a bit more bleeding tendency.

But I want to keep this in perspective. With bromfenac eye drops, very little medicine actually gets into your bloodstream, and this caffeine interaction has never been reported in real people. It's based only on lab data. After cataract surgery, just mention your cola nut or heavy caffeine use to your eye doctor or pharmacist, and watch for any unusual eye irritation or bleeding.
