Here's the gist: repaglinide (Prandin) works by nudging your pancreas to release insulin, which brings your blood sugar down before meals. Cola nut's main active ingredient is caffeine, and the concern on file is mostly theoretical. The reports are honestly mixed, with some suggesting caffeine can bump blood sugar up a little and others pointing the other way, so we can't say it reliably pushes things in one direction.

This isn't a serious or likely interaction, and a soda or one cola nut drink probably won't throw off your control. The bigger thing to watch for is your usual sugar patterns. If you take concentrated cola nut supplements regularly, just keep an eye on your readings and mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before making any changes. Don't adjust your repaglinide on your own.
