Chlorpheniramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lentinan interacts with.

Laboratory research suggests that lentinan might increase the activity of cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4). So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for a decrease in the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 in patients taking lentinan.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.

Here's the gist with shiitake-derived lentinan and your allergy pill, chlorpheniramine. Chlorpheniramine is broken down in part by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lentinan, in test-tube and animal work, looks like it might rev that enzyme up a bit. If that holds true in people, your body could clear chlorpheniramine a little faster, meaning it might not knock down the sneezing, runny nose, or itchy eyes quite as well.

I want to be honest, though: this has only been seen in the lab, never reported in actual patients, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Chlorpheniramine isn't a high-stakes medication. If your allergy relief seems weaker after adding lentinan, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

Chlorpheniramine is used to temporarily relieve common allergy symptoms caused by hay fever (allergic rhinitis) or other upper respiratory allergies. These include runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat.

These uses are supported across multiple products — including tablets (such as Aller-chlor, Allergy, Allergy Relief, Allergy Time, Anti Allergy, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate), extended-release tablets (Allergy Relief and Chlorphen-12), the oral solution Ed Chlorped Jr, and the inhalers ClorRelief and ClorRelief KIDs.
