Aliskiren falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Uva Ursi interacts with.

Theoretically, uva ursi may decrease the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro, uva ursi appears to inhibit CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the short version on combining uva ursi with your aliskiren (Tekturna). Lab tests suggest uva ursi might slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which is one of the pathways your body uses to clear aliskiren. If that enzyme is blocked, a little more aliskiren could hang around in your system. Aliskiren is not a prodrug, so more of it means a slightly stronger effect, which could show up as lower blood pressure, dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint when you stand up.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. This has only been seen in a test tube, never in real people, so it's mostly theoretical. Still, since uva ursi shouldn't be used long-term anyway, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before pairing the two.
