Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Nebivolol Hydrochloride, Valsartan
Nebivolol Hydrochloride, Valsartan falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group 1,3-dmba interacts with.
In vitro research shows that 1,3-DMBA weakly inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the situation with Byvalson, which combines nebivolol (a beta-blocker) with valsartan (a blood pressure pill). The nebivolol part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Lab studies suggest 1,3-DMBA may weakly block that enzyme, so in theory your body could clear nebivolol a little slower and its levels could creep up. Nebivolol is active as-is, not a prodrug, so more of it means a stronger effect.
Practically, that could mean a slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, dizziness, or feeling tired. But honestly, my bigger worry is the 1,3-DMBA itself. It's a banned, unproven stimulant that raises heart rate and blood pressure, working directly against your medicine and risking serious heart and stroke problems. I'd avoid it and chat with your doctor or pharmacist.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Nebivolol Hydrochloride, Valsartan page
“Nebivolol with valsartan (Byvalson) packs two blood pressure medicines into one pill, and I would treat this list with genuine care, especially its handful of serious entries. Most of the interactions tug on blood pressure itself, some deepening the drop until dizziness or fainting becomes a risk, others, tyramine among them, pushing p…”
