Acetaminophen, Propoxyphene falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, chanca piedra might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that chanca piedra extract increases CYP1A2 activity. Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase metabolism of CYP1A2 substrates and lower serum concentrations. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with this combo. Lab studies hint that chanca piedra may speed up a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. In theory, if your body clears the propoxyphene and acetaminophen in Darvocet a little faster, you might get less pain relief than expected. The flip side worth mentioning: acetaminophen's breakdown can produce a compound that's hard on the liver, and chanca piedra is itself often used for liver support, so the real-world picture here isn't clear-cut.

Honestly, this is theoretical. It comes from test-tube research, not from people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since propoxyphene is an opioid, it's smart to run any herbal supplement past your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.
