Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research suggests that methyl brevifolincarboxylate, a constituent isolated from chanca piedra, can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the thing to know about combining chanca piedra with this ibuprofen and hydrocodone product. The ibuprofen part is an NSAID, and NSAIDs already have a mild blood-thinning effect of their own (they can irritate the stomach lining and nudge up bleeding risk). Lab studies hint that one compound in chanca piedra may slow platelets from clumping, which could, in theory, add to that. So stacking the two together might raise your chances of bruising easily, nosebleeds, or stomach upset and bleeding.

I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern seen only in test-tube research, never confirmed in people. It's not a reason to panic. Still, watch for unusual bruising or dark stools, and run it by your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, especially if you take it regularly.

Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES.

Theoretically, use of chanca piedra might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that chanca piedra extract inhibits CYP3A4. Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the short version for this combo pill (ibuprofen plus hydrocodone). The hydrocodone part is partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In a test tube, chanca piedra slowed that enzyme down. If that held true in people, hydrocodone could build up a little, which might mean more drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing. I want to be honest though: this has only been seen in lab studies, never in actual patients, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem.

The ibuprofen side isn't really affected here. Still, because hydrocodone is an opioid, I'd run this past your pharmacist or doctor before pairing it with concentrated chanca piedra supplements, just to be safe.
