Naproxen, Pseudoephedrine falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research suggests that methyl brevifolincarboxylate, a constituent isolated from chanca piedra, can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the simple version. The naproxen part of Aleve Cold and Sinus is an NSAID, and NSAIDs already nudge up your bleeding risk a little by slowing down how your platelets clump together. Chanca piedra might do something similar. In test-tube studies, one of its compounds slowed platelet clumping, so stacking the two could, in theory, make bleeding or bruising a bit more likely.

I want to be honest with you though: this is theoretical only. It has never actually been shown in people, just in lab dishes. So I'm not ringing alarm bells. Just keep an eye out for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, dark stools, or stomach upset, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you also take a blood thinner.

Naproxen, Pseudoephedrine also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES.

Theoretically, chanca piedra might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that chanca piedra extract increases CYP1A2 activity. Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase metabolism of CYP1A2 substrates and lower serum concentrations. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the basic idea with Aleve Cold and Sinus (naproxen plus pseudoephedrine) and chanca piedra. In lab tests, this herb seems to speed up a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. Since your body uses that enzyme to help clear these medicines, in theory chanca piedra could move them out of your system a little faster and make them work less well. For naproxen that might mean less pain or inflammation relief, and for the pseudoephedrine side, less help with a stuffy nose.

I want to be honest though: this is only a test-tube finding and has never actually been seen in people, so it may not matter much at all. Still, if you notice your symptoms aren't easing up, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
