Talinolol falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chanca piedra with antihypertensive drugs might have additive blood pressure lowering effects.
Animal research suggests that chanca piedra can decrease blood pressure. However, this effect was not observed in most hypertensive patients treated with chanca piedra for 10 days.

Talinolol is a beta-blocker that helps lower blood pressure and slow the heart. The thinking here is simple: chanca piedra may nudge blood pressure down a little on its own, so pairing it with talinolol could, in theory, add to that lowering effect. If your pressure dipped too low, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, unusually tired, or notice a slower pulse.

That said, I'd keep this in perspective. This is a theoretical concern drawn mostly from animal studies, and a small human study didn't see meaningful blood pressure drops over 10 days. It's rated minor and unlikely. Talinolol isn't a prodrug, so we're really just talking about overlapping effects, not changed metabolism. Still, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you check your pressure at home.
