Here's the gist: Cilostazol (Pletal) is already an antiplatelet medicine, meaning it makes your platelets less likely to clump and form clots. Cola nut's main active ingredient is caffeine, and lab studies suggest caffeine may have its own mild antiplatelet activity. So in theory, pairing the two could add a little extra to that blood-thinning effect and slightly raise the chance of bruising or bleeding.

I want to be honest about how soft this is. The concern comes only from lab and animal data, and it has never actually been reported in people. A cup of caffeinated tea or a little cola flavor almost certainly won't matter, but concentrated cola nut supplements add up. If you notice easy bruising, nosebleeds, or unusual bleeding, check in with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
