Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Pheniramine, Phenylephrine, Phenylpropan, Pyrilamine,
Pheniramine, Phenylephrine, Phenylpropan, Pyrilamine, falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Ephedra interacts with.
Drugs with CNS stimulant properties might increase the risk of hypertension and the adverse cardiovascular effects of ephedra.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the concern with your Allerstat combo: it contains phenylephrine (and likely phenylpropanolamine), which are decongestant stimulants that already tighten blood vessels and can nudge up your blood pressure and heart rate. Ephedra brings its own powerful stimulants, ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, to the table. Stacking two stimulants together can pile on those effects, raising the risk of a racing or pounding heart, a spike in blood pressure, headache, jitteriness, or trouble sleeping. In serious cases, that extra strain on the heart and vessels is what makes this a major worry.
To be honest, this is based mostly on anecdotal reports rather than strong studies, and ephedra is banned in U.S. supplements anyway. Please don't use ephedra, and check with your pharmacist or doctor about safer allergy and congestion options.

“Allerstat packs two antihistamines (pheniramine and pyrilamine) alongside two decongestants (phenylephrine and phenylpropanolamine), so supplements can collide with it two ways, and this is a list I would not skim. Seven of the 91 ingredients rate major, and the rest split 69 moderate, 15 minor.”
