Why this applies to Morphine Sulfate

Morphine Sulfate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Hordenine interacts with.

Hordenine weakly inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) enzymes in vitro. Theoretically, hordenine might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
Some of drugs that are CYP2D6 substrates include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and others.

Here's some good news if you take morphine and are curious about hordenine: this particular pairing is a weak one. The concern on file is that hordenine might lightly block an enzyme called CYP2D6. In theory, blocking that enzyme could let a drug build up. But morphine doesn't really lean on CYP2D6 to be cleared from your body. It's mostly handled by a completely different pathway (a process called glucuronidation through UGT enzymes), so this interaction isn't a great fit for morphine.

On top of that, the evidence here is only from lab dishes, not people, and it's rated minor. So I wouldn't expect any real change in how your morphine works, whether that's pain relief or side effects like drowsiness or constipation. That said, hordenine is a stimulant with limited safety data, so please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

Morphine is used to manage acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) pain that is severe enough to need an opioid and that hasn't been adequately treated by other options. The higher-concentration liquid form is reserved for adults who are already opioid-tolerant — meaning their body is used to opioid medications.

Because of real risks of addiction, misuse, and overdose, morphine is only prescribed when other pain treatments have not worked or are not expected to work. It is not intended for long-term use unless the pain continues to be severe and no alternatives are suitable.
