Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Amlodipine Besylate, Benazepril
Amlodipine Besylate, Benazepril falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lentinan interacts with.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 include lovastatin (Mevacor), ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), fexofenadine (Allegra), triazolam (Halcion), and numerous others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Lotrel combines two blood pressure medicines: amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and benazepril (an ACE inhibitor). The amlodipine part is cleared by an enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies hint that lentinan might speed up that enzyme, which could let your body break down amlodipine a little faster and lower its levels. In theory, that might make your blood pressure control slightly weaker, so you could see numbers creep up or notice symptoms like dizziness if pressure swings.
Here's the reassuring part: this is only laboratory and animal data, and it has never been reported in real people. Benazepril isn't really affected this way. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but if you start lentinan, it's smart to keep an eye on your home blood pressure readings and mention the supplement to your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Amlodipine Besylate, Benazepril page
“Grapefruit sits high on the worry list for anyone taking Lotrel (amlodipine besylate and benazepril), a two-in-one blood pressure pill. It blocks CYP3A4, the enzyme that clears amlodipine, so drug levels can climb, and it is one of nine major-rated interactions among the 257 supplement and herbal ingredients on file.”
