Naproxen, Sumatriptan falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tiratricol interacts with.

Theoretically, tiratricol might increase the hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants.
Tiratricol is related to thyroid hormones such as levothyroxine. The hypoprothrombinemic effects of oral anticoagulants, including warfarin (Coumadin), are increased by levothyroxine due to increased catabolism of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It is not known if tiratricol has a similar effect.

Let me be straight with you: the interaction on file was written with blood thinners like warfarin in mind, where a thyroid-like compound such as tiratricol could in theory boost the blood-thinning effect. Treximet (naproxen plus sumatriptan) is not a true anticoagulant, but the naproxen part is an NSAID that can thin the blood a little and irritate the stomach lining on its own.

Honestly, this is only a theoretical concern based on pharmacology, not real-world cases with this combo. The bigger issue is tiratricol itself, which the FDA warns against because it can race your heart and raise blood pressure, problems that overlap with sumatriptan's effects. Please don't use tiratricol, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing anything with Treximet.
