Aspirin, Hydrocodone falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.

Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research suggests that methyl brevifolincarboxylate, a constituent isolated from chanca piedra, can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Your Alor (aspirin combined with hydrocodone) carries aspirin, which already thins the blood a bit by keeping platelets from sticking together. The concern here is mostly about the aspirin half. In lab dish studies, one compound in chanca piedra appears to slow platelet clumping too. Stack that on top of aspirin and, in theory, you could bruise more easily or bleed a little longer from a cut.

I want to be honest about how weak this is. This effect has only shown up in test tubes, never in real people, so it's a theoretical caution, not a proven problem. Still, since aspirin already affects bleeding, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding the herb.

Aspirin, Hydrocodone also falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES.

Theoretically, use of chanca piedra might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that chanca piedra extract inhibits CYP3A4. Theoretically, chanca piedra might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with this combo product (aspirin plus hydrocodone). The hydrocodone half is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In test-tube studies, chanca piedra appears to slow that enzyme down. In theory, that could let a bit more hydrocodone build up than usual, which might mean stronger opioid effects like extra drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing if it stacked up too much.

I want to be honest about the strength here though. This is only lab data and it has not been seen in real people, so the concern is mostly theoretical. Still, since opioids carry real risks, I'd run it past your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, and never adjust your dose on your own.
