Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Diclofenac
Diclofenac falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chanca Piedra interacts with.
In vitro research suggests that methyl brevifolincarboxylate, a constituent isolated from chanca piedra, can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to keep in mind with this pairing. Diclofenac is an NSAID, and like other drugs in that family it can irritate the stomach lining and make it a little harder for your blood to clot, which is why bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset can show up. Chanca piedra has a lab finding suggesting one of its compounds may slow platelets (the cells that help blood clot). Stacking the two could, in theory, nudge your bleeding risk a bit higher.
I want to be honest with you though: this is purely theoretical, based on test-tube research, and it has not been seen in actual people. So it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you've ever had ulcers or bleeding issues, but it's not a reason to panic.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Diclofenac page
“Diclofenac (Zorvolex) is an NSAID pain reliever that already stresses the stomach lining and kidneys on its own, so treat this list as a real safety issue, not fine print. Two thirds of the 306 supplements on file can thin the blood or slow clotting, and stacked on an NSAID that raises the odds of stomach bleeding.”

About Chanca Piedra
What is Chanca Piedra?
- Kidney stones
- Gallstones
- Liver support
- Urinary tract health
- Digestive complaints
Chanca piedra is a tropical herb traditionally used as a 'stone breaker' for kidney and gallstones, and for liver and urinary health. Human evidence for these uses is limited and mostly small or preliminary, so it should not replace proven treatments. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have a medical condition or take medications.
About Diclofenac
What Is Diclofenac Used For?
Brand name: Zorvolex
Diclofenac sodium topical gel is used to treat actinic keratoses (AK) — rough, scaly skin patches that form after years of sun exposure. These patches are considered precancerous, meaning they can develop into skin cancer if left untreated.
This is a topical gel, meaning it is applied directly to the skin over the affected area rather than taken by mouth. It belongs to the NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) family.
