Here's the thing to know about combining cola nut with Amesec. This older combo product contains aminophylline (a theophylline-type stimulant for the lungs) plus ephedrine (another stimulant). Cola nut adds its own caffeine on top. So you're really stacking stimulants. There's no clever liver-enzyme trick here, it's simply additive. More stimulation means a higher chance of feeling jittery, a racing or pounding heart, restlessness, trouble sleeping, tremor, and sometimes nausea or a bump in blood pressure.

This is based on expert reasoning rather than hard studies, and a sip of cola flavor won't do much. But concentrated cola nut supplements could push these effects. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.

Cola nut contains caffeine. There is evidence that using ephedrine with caffeine might increase the risk of serious life-threatening or debilitating adverse effects such as hypertension, myocardial infarction, stroke, seizures, and death.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: this combination product already contains ephedrine (a stimulant) and aminophylline (which your body turns into theophylline, also a stimulant-type drug). Cola nut adds even more stimulant on top, because it's basically a natural source of caffeine. So you'd be stacking three things that all rev up the same systems.

The worry is too much stimulation: a racing or pounding heart, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, tremor, anxiety, and higher blood pressure. In larger amounts, the concern with ephedrine plus caffeine extends to more serious events. The evidence here is mostly anecdotal and theoretical, so I'm not trying to scare you, but I'd skip cola nut supplements while on this. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
