Tenecteplase (TNKase) is a powerful clot-busting drug given in the hospital, usually as a single injection during emergencies like a heart attack. Because it works by breaking down clots, bleeding is already its main risk. The concern here is that the caffeine in cola nut may have a mild blood-thinning (antiplatelet) effect, which could in theory add to that bleeding risk.

I want to be honest about how soft this is: it comes only from lab studies, has never been reported in real people, and the chance of it happening is considered unlikely. Tenecteplase is also a one-time emergency medicine, not something you take daily alongside supplements. Still, it's always smart to tell your care team about anything you take. When in doubt, ask your pharmacist or doctor.
